“Patients today” is dedicated to delivering top-quality information to people with cancer in a way which is easy to understand.
Teams of medical experts and patient representatives review the most important findings from late-stage clinical studies on various cancer types presented at ESMO meetings. These findings are discussed from the patient’s point of view in a way that allows patients to fully understand the potential implications for their own disease management. Highlights are presented as video interviews available in both English and German, in an on-demand format which is freely accessible.
Building on the success of this initiative when it was first launched in 2021, new insights for patients are now available below.

“Patients today” 2023 features a program consisting of 10 topics with 18 experts, bringing the latest knowledge on promising treatment options from the ESMO Congress 2023 directly to you – easy to understand and with evaluations and recommendations for everyday treatment practices.
With “patients today”, we aim to reach the largest patient communities worldwide; since 2023, subtitles have been available in various languages.
